Iowa Highlights

It is August 22, 2019 and we are in Des Moines, Iowa. Since Lanee and I both thought that all we would be seeing is a lot of corn and soybeans we did not schedule enough days. Listed below are the highlights of Iowa. Also, a short list of what we need to see the next time we are here.

• State Capital in Des Moines followed by a meal at Zombie Burger

• John Wayne Home and Museum in Winterset

• Bridges of Madison County near Winterset followed by a meal at Machine Shed Resturant

• Places we should have gone to but ran out of time were: Pella Tulip Festival, Amana Colonies, Field of Dreams Movie Site, Iowa 80 Truck Stop and much more.
