| Brazos Milkvetch can be a winter annual or a perennial that grows in the South Texas Plains. Clusters of seven to twenty white flowers edged with purple or lilac make up the flower head. The leaves are one to three inches long with 13-19 leaflets. The fruit is round, flat, and slightly curved. Brazos Milkvetch blooms from February to April. The leaves are eaten by white-tailed deer, and the seeds are occasionally eaten by mourning doves. | |
