The Prostrate Lawnflower is a low growing perennial plant that can reach 1-4 inches in height. The yellow flower heads have a 1/4 inch diameter with a flattened horn-like fruit. The toothed leaves reach 1 1/4 inches in length and grow opposite from each other. The Prostrate Lawnflower can be found in the South Texas Plains and Edwards Plateau regions and blooms from April to November.
