Hairy Leastdaisy is a tap-rooted annual of the Edwards Plateau area of Texas. This plant reaches three to fifteen inches in height with basal leaves about one and a third inches long. The flower head is made up of six to fifteen violet or lavender to violet-blue ray flowers and eight to twenty-two yellow disk flowers. It can be found in open calcareous places and blooms from March to June. |
