White Cordia can be found growing in dry, rocky soils of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is a low herbaceous plant reaching a height of one to two feet. The stem is hairy and it has a woody rootstock. The lance-shaped leaves are also hairy and are about two inches long with toothed margins. The white, funnel-shaped flowers are clustered together in heads and are approximately 1/2 inch in diameter. White Cordia blooms from April to June.
