Jimson Weed can be found in various types of soil of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is an upright annual (2 to 4 feet tall) from perennial rootstock. The entire plant is covered with small, spreading hairs. The leaves are 8 inches long and have an asymmetric base. The large white flowers are 8 inches long and bloom from April to October. Jimson Weed is considered to be poisonous.
