Roadside gaura is a cool season annual plant that blooms from March to June. It grows in the moist rich soils of the Edwards Plateau. This plant is between one and four feet tall and has sweet smelling white flowers that turn pink with age. The flowers are about 1/2 inch wide and have dark red anthers.
