Texas Geranium can be found in clayey or sandy soils of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It blooms in March to April with small rose-violet to purple flowers. The leaves are 1/2 to two inches long with three or five toothed or cleft lobes. Texas Geranium also has spreading branches that can measure fifteen inches in length. The leaves are consumed by white-tailed deer. |
