Lance-leaved Water Willow is found growing in wet and swampy grounds of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It can be 1 to 1 1/2 inches tall and the stems can be erect or spreading. The narrow, dark green leaves are about four inches long and one inch wide. The white flowers are found on small spikes, about one to four inches long, and have purple markings in the throat. Lance-leaved Water Willow blooms from March to June.
