Snapdragon Vine is found growing on fences, over bluffs or on nearby shrubs. It can be found in rocky, calcareous soils of the South Texas Plains and Edwards Plateau. The leaves are nearly triangular to arrow-shaped and are 1/2 to 1 inch long. The violet or purple flowers have a creamy white and yellow throat and are 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. Snapdragon Vine blooms from March to September. |
