Lyreleaf Parthenium can be found in the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It grows to a height of seven to twenty-seven inches and is covered with small hairs. The flowers are white and consist of both ray and disk flowers. The leaves are lyrate, meaning they have small lobes towards the base and are large and rounded at the end. Lyreleaf Parthenium blooms during the spring and summer. The leaves are often consumed by white-tailed deer.
