Golden-eye Phlox can be found growing in dry limestone soils of the Edwards Plateau. It is a low growing annual, usually reaching a height of three to five inches, but sometimes as tall as twelve inches. The leaves are slender and approximately two inches long. The flower is pink with a lighter pink to white center and a yellow eye. Golden-eye Phlox blooms from February to May. |
