| Blue Sage can be found in dry, rocky soils of the Edwards Plateau and the South Texas Plains. It is an upright perennial reaching six to fifteen inches in height. The leaves are two inches long with teeth on the upper two thirds of the margins. The purple to dark blue flower is 3/4 to 1 inch long with a white throat. Blue Sage blooms from March to May. | |
