| Two-leaved Senna can be found in limestone or clayey soils of the Edwards Plateau and the South Texas Plains. This upright to sprawling perennial stands one to two feet tall. The leaves are divided into two leaflets, each measuring two to three inches in length. The flower is 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter and consists of five yellow petals.Two-leaved Senna blooms from April to October. As with other sennas, it is known for its medicinal uses. It is to cattle, goats and horses and symptoms include diarrhea, weakness, dark urine, and death. |
