| Narrowleaf Globe Mallow can be found in sandy or rocky soils, preferably limestone or gypsum, of the Edwards Plateau. It is an erect plant growing to a height of 1 to 3 feet. The pink to lavender flowers are 3/8 to 5/8 inch wide. The narrow leaves are about 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches long and are toothed along the margin. Caterpillars of the Texas Powdered Skipper and the Common Streaky Skipper butterflies feed on Narrowleaf Globe Mallow. It can be found blooming from the spring into the fall. | |
