| False Dayflower is an erect annual reaching one to two feet in height. Two large lavender petals and one small white petal make up the flower. The petals and stamens together give the flower the appearance of having a face. The clasping leaves average two to four inches in length. False Dayflower grows in the moist soils of the Edwards Plateau region and blooms from April to July. | |
