| Texas Spiderwort is an upright perennial herb. The flower head consists of three bright blue petals that reach 1/2 inch in diameter. The long, curved, clasping leaves reach a length of about 8 inches and are covered with small spreading hairs. The margin of the leaf is crisped and is usually rose or purple tinged. Texas Spiderwort blooms from March through June and is found in the sandy and rocky soil of the Edwards Plateau and the South Texas Plains. | |
