New Mexico Vervain is present in clay and sandy soils of the South Texas Plains and Edwards Plateau. This very hairy plant can reach a height of three feet and has deeply lobed leaves. The flowers are deep blue or purple and are found on spikes that are up to nine inches long. New Mexico Vervain blooms between March and October. |
