Persian Speedwell is an annual plant that grows 1-5 inches tall. The four lobed flowers are 1/4- 3/8 inches wide. The top petals are blue with dark violet lines that fade into the bottom petal which is white. The leaves are broad and deeply toothed, and usually reach 1/4- 5/8 inches in length. Persian Speedwell blooms from January to March and can be found in the caliche soils of the Edwards Plateau region. |
