| Buckley Yucca is a spiked plant with a flowery seedhead. It can grow to five feet in height in the South Texas Plains and the Edwards Plateau. The leaves are long and narrow with long, wavy threads on the margins. At the end of each leaf is a short, stout spine. Buckley Yucca flowers are pale, greenish white and bloom from April to June. The fruit is brown to black and is eaten by small mammals. | |
