Chicory

Flowering plant.  Flowers are usually blue.  Chicory is a weed of rights-of-way and pastures.

Seed.  Seed are gray and brown mottled in color and tipped with a row of bristles; length is between and 2.0 and 3.0 mm.

Life cycle: perennial.
