Japanese Hops
Leaves. Key characteristics: 5-lobed with serrated margins and rough-textured. Leaves and stems are covered with hairs that may cause dermatitis to sensitive individuals.
Growth habit. Japanese hops are aggressive vining plants.

Seed. Seed are lemon-shaped and covered with a pericarp mottled with gray, brown and red markings. Size is approximately 4.0 x 3.0 mm.
