Vegetative plants.  Key characterisics: leaves are alternate, densely pubescent, large and heart-shaped.  Foliage has a unique foul odor from the resin that it secretes.

Flowers are pinkish-white and may have yellow and purple spots.

Seed.  Seed are brownish-black and very rough-textured.  Length is approximately 9.0 mm with a width of approximately 6.0 mm at their widest point.

Life cycle: summer annual.
