Virginia Creeper

    

Vegetative plant.  Key characteristics: Virginia creeper is a perennial woody vine that is commonly found in thickets and fencerows in Missouri.  Leaves are palmately compound, usually with five leaflets, unlike poison ivy, which has three.

     

Virginia creeper climbs over objects that are in its path.

  

Seed.  Seed are dark glossy brown, rounded with prominent seams.  Diameter is approximately 3.0 mm.
