Stand Loss Due to Window during Rainy Period

Severely stunted alfalfa, killed  by a window on plants for an extended period of time.  Weeds will invade the stripe devoid of alfalfa plants.  When alfalfa is swathed just before a rainy period diseases and insect attack plants under the window row.  Extended shading under the window also contributed to stand loss.
