Phosphorous Added to Alfalfa Field

Phosphorous Added to Alfalfa Field

Where phosphorous fertilizer was applied to this field, regardless of the amount or method of application, the alfalfa was much taller (8-10 inches compared to 15-18 inches), and it had many more stems per square foot.  In addition the color was much better and the leaves were larger.  Yield was also significantly improved with added phosphorous.
