Sorghum-Sudangrass as a Companion Crop

Sorghum-Sudangrass as a
Companion Crop

The alfalfa and sorghum-sudangrass seed was sown by airplane onto a fine seed bed with small furrows left by a spring-tooth harrow.  Notice how the seeds moved to the bottom of the furrows forming rows.  The sorghum-sudangrass served its purpose and was killed by a frost after it has grown to a height of about one foot.
