Irrigation

Center-pivot irrigation systems move in a circle (sometimes more than a 1/4 mile radius) while applying water.  Center-pivot irrigation systems require less labor than hand-moved pipe or side-roll systems but have a higher initial investment.  The system shown reduces water loss through evaporation because the water is  dribbled under low pressure to the crop instead of being shot up into the air.
