Wavyleaf Thistle (Cirsium undulatum)

Perennial native thistle that flowers May through July, growing 1 1/2 to 3 feet tall.  Plant as rosette in fall and winter, with yellow spine and margins strongly undulate.  Upper leaves hairy and greenish, lower surface hairy and grayish.
