Rescuegrass (Bromus catharticus)

Leaf sheaths of this annual cool-season grass weed can be nearly glabrous to densely pubescent with fine, straight, spreading hairs.  Leaf blades may be hairy on upperside only.  Ligules 4mm long, membranous, with frayed margins.
