| With prolonged periods of dry weather, this species may cause stunting and chlorosis (yellowing) of leaves. Plants may be killed if infestations persist for weeks. Spraying or harvesting is recommended in established stands if numbers reach 10 aphids/stem when alfalfa is <10" tall. |
