| Infestations may begin as early as late February and cause serious damage before spring growth begins. Spray if numbers reach 10 aphids/plant in new seedling stands or 30 aphids/crown in established stands. Chances of serious damage are greatest with mild temperatures; not dependent the amount of rainfall. |
