| The high quality hay required should have 20 % protein, 30% ADF, and 40% NDF. It is difficult to reach this level of quality during hot dry summers, and it may be more profitable to strive for good grinding hay for beef cattle. Remember, laboratory results can only be as good as the sample received. |
