| Striped blister beetle or black blister beetle adults may migrate into fields in large numbers "swarms" and feed on foliage and blooms. To reduce chances of beetles (cantharidin) in hay, scout fields before harvest; spray with short residual insecticide if swarms occur. Do not crimp hay as cut. |
