| Infestations that developed during fall and winter may persist into March, particularly if there is little rainfall; spray if populations reach 10 aphids/stem (plants <10 inches tall) or 30/stem (>10 inches tall). Aphid numbers should be monitored closely as scouting for alfalfa weevil is conducted. |
