Rescuegrass (Bromus catharticus)

Tillered growth stage as seen in fall and winter.  Leaf sheaths can be nearly glabrous to densely pubescent with fine, straight, spreading hairs.  Leaf blades may be hairy on upperside only.  Ligules 4mm long, membranous, with frayed margins.
