Rescuegrass (Bromus catharticus)

Plant in heading stage as seen April to July, up to 3 ft. tall.  Leaf blades to 12 inches long, 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide, may be hairy on upperside only and sheath may be hairy on lower leaves.  Seed head open panicle.
