Buckhorn Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)

Perennial cool-season broadleaf plant as seen in late winter before it flowers May through October.  Stemless plant with all leaves basal, blades simple, 3 to several prominent paralleled  veins giving appearance of a grass-like leaf.
