Common Yarrow
The foliage of common yarrow is finely dissected and covered with soft hairs, giving it a fern-like appearance. The foliage has a pungent odor.
The plant has a bluish green color, reproduces by seed and rhizomes and is most often found on poor, dry, sandy soils where other plants grow poorly.
Flowers are mostly white and form a flat cluster.
Life cycle: perennial.
