| Summer weeds germinate in April and May. So, it is important to cut early and apply herbicides such as Pursuit®, Sinbar® and Zorial® as soon as the hay is off. Pursuit® is very effective for season-long pigweed control and fair on grasses. Sinbar® gives fair to good control of pigweeds and poor to fair control of weedy grasses. Zorial® gives excellent control of crabgrass and fair control of foxtails and pigweeds. | |
